All you need to know about Craps

Craps is another one of the easiest Casino games. There are multiple options of placing your bets in Craps. We will discuss all the Craps rules in this article which can help you in understanding the game.

The game starts with a player throwing two dice. This player is called the Shooter. The shooter must place a Pass line bet or a Don’t pass line bet before rolling the dice. The first roll of the shooter is called the Come Out roll, which can have three results.

If the two dice total is 2,3 or 12, the Shooter has Craps. Pass line bets are lost and the Shooter turn is over.

If the dice total is 7 or 11, the Shooter has a Natural. Pass line bets win and the shooter may roll again.

If the dice total is 4,5 6, 8, 9 or 10, the shooter has set a Point. No bets are lost or won yet, the Shooter might roll again. The Shooter then continues to roll the dice trying to hit the point until one of the two things happen.

The Shooter rolls a seven before rolling the Point number. The turn is over and any pass line bets are lost. The Shooter rolls a point before rolling a seven, Pass line bets are won and the shooter rolls again.

When a player Craps or sevens out, the dice is offered to the next player in the clockwise direction. In fact, a player has the option of declining to roll when offered.

Anyone standing at the Craps table can place their bets irrespective of who is rolling the dice. They can bet for or against the Shooter and unlike the Shooter, they are not required to place Pass line or Don’t pass line bet.
